More Paul Kemp was asleep on his living room couch when the fire that would incinerate his Iowa home first started. His 3-year-old dog Sheba jumped onto his chest to wake him, saving his life. When Paul darted outside to safety he discovered Sheba was not by his side. It was then that he went back into the blaze, calling for her until she came to his voice and they could escape together. Hours later Paul and Sheba were back at the donation center where they work side by side to benefit a local no-kill animal shelter. A grateful Paul says, "She showed me that she's my best friend."
